**MATERNITY LEAVE REPLACEMENT**

The **Loyalty Marketing Manager** is primarily responsible for the development, execution, and day-to-day management of marketing campaign strategies to drive Aeroplan program engagement. This position requires strong cross-team leadership, superior organizational skills, and attention to detail, as well as creative solutioning and data-driven thinking to deliver against objectives.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Contribute to the marketing strategy, development, and execution of Aeroplan-related marketing initiatives for Air Canada Vacations. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Strategies and initiatives that will positively influence members’ engagement behavior and capture growth potential.
- Strategies to increase member engagement with Air Canada Vacations.
- Strategies to increase program awareness among Air Canada Vacations customers.
- Strategies to streamline & integrate partner marketing loyalty initiatives to better support the program’s business objectives & roadmap
- Co-own the marketing calendar with the Loyalty Program Manager for all Aeroplan-related initiatives
Develop a deep understanding of the Loyalty program and business objectives/roadmap to make sound marketing decisions
- Work closely with Air Canada’s Loyalty Marketing team to ensure messaging and creative alignment across all touchpoints
- Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders - Program Manager, Analytics, Marketing, eCommerce, Creative Studio, Legal, Channel Owners etc. to develop comprehensive marketing plans that meet business objectives.
- Provide marketing support for engagement initiatives, partnerships, and any other initiatives that require the Brand & Marketing Communications expertise in the evolving Aeroplan program roadmap.
- Manage marketing projects from end-to-end from the creative brief through to obtaining all required stakeholder approvals, to campaign deployment and fulfillment while managing project budgets, lead times, resources, and channel availability
- Utilize data to support campaign structures, & develop a deep understanding of targeting strategies & audiences to aid in the deployment of sound communication messages & tactics that meet program objectives
- Collaborate with Loyalty Program Manager to track performance of Loyalty marketing campaigns and recommend strategies with a focus on optimization/continuous improvement and test & learn.
- Facilitate delivery of post campaign analyses of marketing programs and leverage key insights and learnings as a foundation for future strategies.
- Manage specific projects that promote Member Marketing

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or retailed field and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience. Previous work experience in loyalty, customer lifecycle programs, airline and/or travel industry an asset.

**Desired Skills/Traits**:

- Solid understanding of below-the-line marketing communications with a focus on digital channels
Experience in campaign planning, integration and deployment
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral English and French
- Ability to analyze primary and secondary data, translate results into marketing strategies
- Good creative evaluation skills and ideation capabilities
- Strong copy-editing skills and attention to detail
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as part of a team
- Superior administrative, prioritization and organization skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with tight deadlines
