Concrete Mixer Driver

**Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Safely operate concrete mixer trucks to transport and deliver concrete to designated locations.
- Load and unload concrete materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle.
- Manage slump levels and ensure the quality of concrete during transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

**Skills**:

- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating concrete mixer trucks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading materials.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle repairs or troubleshooting.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Agassiz, BC V0M 1A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Concrete mixer: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 License or Class 3 (required)
