- The Office Administrator provides administrative support to the Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program (CNPP). Working with the Academic Chair and Program Head, along with the Practice Education Administrator while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program are an integral part of this position.
1. Assist the Academic Chair, Program Head and Practice Education Administrator with administrative and clerical support including: assisting in calendar coordination; prioritizing incoming mail; arrange, assist in drafting agendas and taking and transcribing minutes of meetings.
2. Maintain comprehensive filing (both manual and electronic) system, program binders and procedure manuals.
3. Oversee the day-to-day management of the CNPP office in relation to the physical facility (office equipment, computers, furniture, appliances), and any other non-academic related functions.
4. Prepare purchase requisitions for signature, track supplies and capital purchases using FAST and initiate payment of expenditures.
5. Prepare reports, student letters maintaining strict confidentially and requests with mínimal supervision. Knowledge and experience with Zoom, SharePoint and Survey Monkey would be beneficial.
6. Provide orientation to new faculty regarding office procedures and forms.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- 1. Complete Grade 12 plus a recognized office administration certificate or an equivalent combination of training and experience which must include training and/or experience in minute taking.
2. Two years’ recent and relevant experience performing administrative and clerical work.
3. Training and/or experience at the advanced level in the use of common software packages, i.e. MS Office Suite.
4. Training and/or experience in supervision.
5. Knowledge of common office procedures.
6. Effective interpersonal skills.
7. Effective communications skills, both oral and written.
8. Effective organizational skills.
9. Effective proofreading skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently under generalized supervision.
