**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The incumbent provides support to graduate students, faculty, and visitors in the absence of the Graduate Administrator.

**Qualifications**:
**The incumbent must possess the following qualifications**:

- Thorough knowledge of regulations throughout the university; a thorough knowledge and understanding of procedures governing processing of student records
- Thorough knowledge of the procedures and precedents involved.
- Personal initiative is essential.
- Tact, reliability, good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
- Ability to take initiative, set priorities, work under pressure, and be able to work with a minimum of supervision is very important.

**Education and Experience**:
**The above is normally acquired through the completion of**:

- Two-year college diploma, or two years of post-secondary study at the university level or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five years of related experience in a university environment, or equivalent, including a sound knowledge of undergraduate studies.
