Reporting to the Custodial Foreman, the Custodian performs janitorial and basic facility maintenance duties to ensure our City facilities, including the RCMP Detachment, are maintained in an attractive, clean, safe and presentable condition for public use. The Custodian provides customer service to user groups and staff. Custodians will ensure facilities are set up with tables, chairs, staging areas and audio/visual needs, according to facility booking requests. The Custodian promotes the City’s commitment to diversity, inclusions and Truth and Reconciliation within the department, organization and community.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent must successfully complete, receive and maintain a RCMP Reliability Status Clearance from the RCMP Detachment throughout the course of employment.

This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 30, and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.

Hours of Work:
The number of hours of work per week may vary and cannot be forecasted. Varying day, night and weekend shifts.
