We're hiring a skilled DevOps Specialist with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team.

**Your future duties and responsibilities**
- Implement secure CI/CD pipelines for Docker images, ensuring adherence to security standards.
- Configure CI/CD to facilitate seamless promotion of changes between environments using GitOps.
- Integrate automated smoke tests into CI/CD pipelines for validation.
- Ensure secure handling of authentication keys based on established security standards.
- Utilize Dataproc Terraform module for cluster deployment across various environments.
- Enhance and extend CI/CD pipelines for Dataproc clusters, incorporating new configurations.
- Develop CI/CD templates for different stages of the pipeline, aligning with standard practices and security requirements.
- Provide training sessions on project-related CI/CD pipelines, templates, and best practices.

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role**
- Education: Bachelor of Science or relevant degree and/or a combination of experience.
- Bilingualism: English and French is an asset.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in Terraform for creating and managing infrastructure components.
- CI/CD: In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and orchestration, with a focus on automated testing.
- Kubernetes: Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and cluster management.
- Version Control: Proficient in Git for version control, with a solid understanding of branching strategies.
- Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for task automation.
- Security Practices: Integration of security measures into CI/CD pipelines, adherence to security best practices.
- Monitoring and Logging: Expertise in implementing monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Networking: In-depth understanding of networking in a cloud environment, optimizing for secure communication.
- Database Management: Extensive experience in managing GCP databases for performance and scalability.
- Collaboration Tools: Effective use of Slack, Jira, and Confluence for seamless communication and project management.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for efficient issue resolution.
- Adaptability: Agile and adaptable to evolving technologies and project requirements.
