The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Banquet Server. Are you passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience? If your answer is “Yes”, we would like to meet you

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Serves all food and beverage items in a timely and friendly manner
- Communicates with guests to ensure satisfaction with both the food and service.
- Clears the tables and room at the end of the function, including all side trays and side stands as per the set standards.
- Consistently offers friendly, professional and exceptional guest service.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Graduate of a post-secondary hospitality program is considered an asset
- Must be Smart Serve Certified for Ontario
- 1 to 2 years of previous food & beverage service experience is required
- Must possess a passion for customer service and the ability to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meeting strict deadlines.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as a part of a team.
- Appearance must be neat, clean and well groomed as per Hilton standards.
- Must have a good command of the English language.
- Physical demands: constant standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting.

**Experience**:

- Banquet: 1 year (preferred)

Licence:

- Smart Serve (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (required)
