Consumers Tire Markham provides tire sales and services to the automotive, retail and wholesale industry. Consumers Tire is a fun and fast paced environment which is quality driven and team oriented.

Consumers Tire is looking for a customer service driven operations assisant to join their team. This individual will be responsible for sales operations to cover a 1 year maternity leave contract with the possibility of a permanent position.

Working as part of the Consumers Tire team your duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, facilitate deliveries and sourcing of pre ordered products. To be successful as an operations assistant you will need to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispatch deliveries
- Online ordering of products
- Strategic sourcing of pre ordered inventory
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Build productive trust relationships with customers

Skills/Qualifications:

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Experience as a sales associate, sales representative or similar role
- An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Strong phone presence
- Strong computer skills, excel, word, google doc is an asset
- Tire knowledge is an asset

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
