The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing logistics operations to support hydraulic fracturing (fracking) projects, particularly during peak (Q4 & Q1) and off-peak (Q2 & Q3) seasons. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of equipment, inventory management, and compliance. It requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement in operational processes.
**What you'll do**:
Frac Season (Q4 & Q1)
- Obtain and validate project details (startup dates, job scope, trailer spacing) with internal and external clients, Work with Major Accounts Team to complete accounts set up.
- Prepare tracking, billing, and asset/equipment documentation and ensure availability of drivers and technicians.
- Monitor inventory supply and usage, collaborating with the supply team and managing real-time consumption estimates.
- Establish communication lines with customers, utilizing platforms like Starlink for operational updates.
- Coordinate with the water heating team, frequently checking consumption and submitting early morning usage reports.
- Document daily equipment loads, manage service tech billing, and ensure timely invoicing.
- Organize 3rd party trucking and equipment rentals, maintain PO records, and handle vendor payments.
- Maintain 24/7 availability for on-call support with overtime options during peak frac seasons.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within frac operations and service.

Off-Peak Season (Q2 & Q3)
- Execute regional B51 strategy, overseeing approximately 3,000 tank exchanges.
- Coordinate logistics for seasonal resources specializing in B51 and compliance work.
- Support outbound compliance projects, manage remote campaigns, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Fixed Asset and Compliance teams on vessel inspections and pressure relief valve (PRV) replacements.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party services for crane and inspection requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**What you bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, preferably in energy, oil, or gas industries.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment, especially during peak seasons.
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office, are required and previous experience with MS Access, JD Edwards, ADDs and routing or mapping technology is preferred.
- Proficiency in tracking, billing, and logistics software tools.
