Invoicing/administrative Clerk

Edmonton, Canada Superior Safety Codes Inc. Full time

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Compile data from supporting documents. Generate a high volume of invoices for billing purposes
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied transactions in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers, sales representatives and operations as necessary to complete job duties
- Dealing with high volumes of orders and related paperwork
- Ensuring all customer specific billing requirements are met while verifying accuracy and completeness
- Administering other office duties as assigned
- Collaborate with the Controller to maintain goals and general performance levels
- Adhering to timelines for payment processing and prioritizing as per requirement.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Entering all invoices into Simply Sage 50 with the correct GL accounts.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries including reconciliation of account statements, research and correct discrepancies.

**What you bring**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with high volumes of data processing
- Ability to multitask and maintain a positive and flexible approach under pressure
- Previous billing or receivables invoicing experience and knowledge of the construction industry is an asset
- Systems experience including Simply Sage 50 accounting software is an asset
- Possession of a post-secondary education in business / administration
- Demonstrated proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Professionalism
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding
- Knowledge of financial information systems and office administration procedures
- Thrives in a high volume, deadline heavy environment.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Efficient and effective to complete role duties.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
