**The Position**

**Reporting to the Mental Health Program Manager, the Integrated Wellness Coordinator will primarily be responsible to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate care and support of STC members and STC member First Nations. This role will also oversee program management to ensure effective milestone planning and timely completion of deliverables. This position will be expected to respect and protect the rights of First Nation citizens, including but not limited to their right to independence, autonomy, and self-determination; their right to choose and practice individual values, beliefs, religion, and culture; their right to privacy and dignity.**

**Responsibilities**
- Utilize leadership, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to build community partnerships;
- Oversee program management to ensure effective milestone planning and timely completion of deliverables;
- Monitors and evaluates programs and services for compliance and quality of care, make recommendations for improvement based on best practices and cultural relevance;
- Prepare and present proposals relating to departmental budgets, resource allocation, and work processes;
- Ensure commitment to quality, client safety, and risk management initiatives consistent with accreditation processes;
- Evaluate policies and procedures and provide recommendations for changes to improve efficiency;
- Coordinate, schedule or conduct meetings with stakeholder groups and rights holders as required;
- Coordinate culturally relevant and safe workshops and in-service training to maintain stakeholder/staff competencies;
- Supervise and evaluate employee performance and provide supportive feedback, coaching, and formal evaluations;
- Provide Clinical Supervision to STC member First Nation and Urban Integrated Wellness staff;
- Use effective interpersonal skills to communicate complex and sensitive information;
- Completes progress and statistical reports as required;
- Assess, evaluate, plan, and revise care and support to meet strategic priorities;
- Monitor progress, keep records, reports, work plans, budgets etc. up to date;
- Encourage open communication among stakeholders when discussing issues, problems, or concerns;
- Provide timely and astute information as well as advocacy and support to other members of the interdisciplinary team, stakeholders and leadership;
- Demonstrate cooperation among other staff members in order to ensure efficiency of care and support;
- Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately;
- Perform responsibilities of the position within the legislative and regulatory standards set out in the applicable federal, provincial, and First Nations legislation;
- Celebrate successes and foster an atmosphere of success;
- Interaction with others under varying circumstances-including situations of a highly sensitive nature;
- Performs other duties as required or as assigned by Manager;
- Participate as a member of the STC Critical Incident Stress Management Team.

**Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary degree, in a related Human Service sector; Psychology, Social Work, or Psychiatric Nursing;
- 5 years of experience in a related field and additional training considered an asset;
- Hold a professional certification or license within a relevant professional association;
- Demonstrated experience managing staff; providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback with the ability to motivate others in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience working within a governance structure in a community development capacity with First Nations; familiarity with First Nations culture, and history is considered an asset. Degree in health or social sciences, or a field appropriate to the position;
- Ability to maintain positive professional boundaries without imposing personal judgments and expectations;
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team;
- Demonstrated time management skills;
- Highly self-motivated, energetic, organized, and detail-oriented with an attitude for continuous improvement;
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment;
- Proven knowledge of case management processes and procedures;
- ** Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion;**:

- Knowledge of the political, social, and economic objectives of the Saskatoon Tribal Council and of the Dakota, Cree, and Saulteaux cultures will be considered an asset.

**Other Conditions**
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and meet STC’s insurance requirements;
