Public Relations Intern

As a Public Relations Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our PR team on various projects and initiatives.

**Duties**:

- Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other written materials
- Conduct research on media outlets, journalists, and industry trends
- Assist in planning and executing PR events and campaigns
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings
- Support social media efforts by creating content and engaging with followers
- Collaborate with team members on brainstorming sessions for PR strategies
- Assist in proofreading and editing PR materials
- Attend meetings and take notes as needed
- Support general administrative tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with exceptional proofreading skills
- Proficient in conducting online research
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Public speaking skills are a plus
- Must be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or have recently graduated

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.75 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
