The position of Technical Cost Analyst is located within thedivision purchasing unit and plays a key contributionto the overall success of the company.

You will be responsible to evaluate and drive cost engineering projects for exciting groundbreaking assemblies / components related to Division Electrification Solutions within Vitesco Technologies. The main tasks are:
**Job description**:

- You drive material and tooling cost control during the sourcing process with involved parties and key stakeholders
- You drive Cost Engineering activities for selected key materials / modules or tooling's until business case approval
- You identify and foster Value & Cost optimization opportunities within internal and external cross-functional teams
- You drive and manifest technical expertise, within procurement and supplier organization
- You collaborate with the PUR and R&D functional clusters to manage value for the project
- You create cost models mainly during the product sourcing phase / during other phases of the product lifecycle, e.g.serial improvements
- You create arguments and cost facts based on cross-functional workshops including suppliers
- You maintain technological expertise through networking with internal and external partners
- You evaluate new technologies for product Cost optimization opportunities and strengthen continuously your technology skills
- You are positively influencing the ration between cost to function with your expertise

**Job requirements**:

- You have completed your studies with a technical and/or commercial background
- You gained experiences in the relevant field of work, ideally in the area of cost engineering, or engineering for process/ manufacturing or tooling
- You are confident or interested in handling Calculation Tools and R&D Specifications (ideally TCPCM/ training internal available)
- You show fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- You demonstrate Project Management capabilities
- You are willing to travel (circa 20%)

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
