**Your Job**

We are currently searching for talented individuals that shares our corporate values and beliefs to fill an immediate full-time requirement for a Maintenance Assistant role in our Uxbridge, Ontario facility.

**What You Will Do**
- Embrace Koch MBM® Guiding Principles and EH&S compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives.
- Support our proactive safety culture.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Perform day to day activities of Maintenance department. Update and communicate with supervisor regularly.
- Daily maintenance of machinery including lubricating with oil, repairs.
- Daily shop building maintenance.
- Ensure machinery has required safety guards in place.
- Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing process equipment as directed.
- Ability to handle materials and parts up to 50lbs.
- Flexible, adaptable, ability to work overtime.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate motorized equipment (forklifts, overheard cranes, scissor lifts)
- Must be able to perform routine equipment inspection.
- Experience using computerized records system.
- Ability to handle materials and parts up to 50lbs.
- Valid driver's license.

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience in a shop as a Maintenance Assistant.
- Working knowledge to repair and maintain heavy-duty stamping machinery (presses, turret presses, press brakes etc)
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
