Anderson Craft Ales Ltd. is a new family-owned craft brewery established in London, Ontario in 2016. We have a passion for making (and drinking) great beer, and are looking for another like-minded individual to join our team.

We are looking for an assistant brewer who is passionate and knowledgeable to help with producing our great lineup of craft beers. The brewer will work together with our head brewer and be responsible for all aspects of brewing, cellaring, packaging, note keeping, and quality control. The ideal applicant will need to be reliable, a meticulous record-keeper, and have knowledge of brewing science. Most of all you need to be a hard worker with a friendly and outgoing attitude that we will be happy to work with.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the Brewhouse
- Handling raw materials; including accepting deliveries and tracking, hops dosage, yeast pitching
- Main fermentation and ageing management:

- Control fermentation profile; temperature, pressure, natural carbonation, regular gravity measurement
- Transfer green beer from fermenters to ageing tanks; monitor flow, volume, CO2/DO content, temperature, pressure
- Perform dry-hopping procedures according to recipe; hops dosage, monitor recirculation flow, temperature, pressure
- Ensure CIP and sanitation in fermenters, yeast storage tanks, and beer transfer equipment is completed according to schedule
- Operate the centrifuge
- Measure CO2/DO content in ageing tanks and BBTs
- Dry-hopping, yeast harvesting, pitching, cropping, and other aspects of cellaring
- Keep and maintain accurate records
- Assist with creation and maintenance of SOPs
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
- Work as part of a team, regular and effective communication

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in brewery or degree/diploma in a relevant field is required
- Team player with good communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Physically fit as job duties entail standing, climbing stairs/ladder, cleaning and lifting/moving products; often in hot environment
