**About the Job**:
We are looking for an efficient Payroll Clerk to join our team who will be responsible for all aspects of managing employee data, ensuring timesheet accuracy and payments on a weekly basis.

The successful administrator must have strong communication skills, solid numerical aptitude and attention to detail, excellent organization skills and be able to multitask effectively.

**Job Title**: Payroll Clerk.

**Location**: 8533 Airport Road W Mount Hope, ON L0R 1W0

**Pay**: $50,000 - 55,000 Annually.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of utilized time and attendance system.
- Maintain employee records within our internal program.
- Review payable hours, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Prepare and issue earnings statements.
- Process all government remittance; Receiver General, WSIB, EHT, etc.
- Provide accurate information and answering employee questions about their payroll-related matters.
- Review, adjust and issue year end T4’s; including all required government remittances.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
- Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department.
- GL reconciliations for all payroll accounts.
- Ensure payroll practices meet legislative requirements.
- Other duties as per requirement.

**Requirements**:

- PCP certificate or 3+ years of working experience is required.
- Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; with strong Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of relevant government websites.
- Previous use of ExakTime and or Jonas an asset.
- Strong ability to always maintain confidentiality in the course of work as well as exercise discretion.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
