**Role Purpose**: Wolfe’s Supply Chain and Production Control Leader’s goal is to define, develop and execute the company’s supply chain strategy. They are responsible for improving productivity and efficiency of the department and reduce costs while securing high quality material for the company. They are responsible for the coaching and development of team members, to grow capacity and capability to align with business goals and objectives.

**Reports To**: General Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Define supply chain forecasting structure for Wolfe - taking sales forecast and translating it into the purchasing forecast.
- Create and implement internal supply chain processes and procedures, assess for efficiency.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for supply chain planning and forecasting; enact changes based on findings (departmental SQDC)
- Develop and, if necessary, implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Develop the supplier management system for Wolfe.
- Regularly report on supply chain performance to leadership team.
- Seek and establish ways to further align supply chain unit with the organization's financial revenue goals.
- Manage and adhere to an annual budget for supply chain functions across the organization.
- Lead the supply chain team - coaching/development of team members, growing capacity and capability to align with company objectives and goals
- Define and implement inventory structure to align with business goals and objectives
- Creation of visual management system within department

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree or diploma in business, with a focus on supply chain management, production control, manufacturing, or materials management
- 3-5 years of direct work experience in a supply chain management or forecasting position
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain principles, and experience with implementation
- Familiarity with supply chain management (SCM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and/or material requirements planning (MRP) software
- Demonstrated understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories
- Advanced procurement and supplier negotiation abilities
