Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient day to day operation of the warehouse at the Strathroy facility, including shipping, receiving, inventory moves, cycle counts, and site waste removal and recycling programs.

This position is located in Strathroy, Ontario, one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions.

**Shifts**: Regular working hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

**The Role**
- Ensure the safe, compliant operation of the Strathroy warehouses and comply with and ensure compliance to all SOPs and GMPs.
- Arrange inbound and outbound freight requirements as needed and provide back-up to Logistics and Customs Specialist.
- Manage audits of finished goods and raw material warehouses (cycle counts) and accompany QA on audits, assist with follow up to ensure GMPs are met.
- Ensure MRP system is up to date and inventory transactions are complete and accurate.
- Supervise and manage documentation of inbound and outbound shipments and ensure compliance to all TDG requirements.
- Be a competent person per CSA standard for lifting devices, complete Health and Safety hazard assessments and maintain records and other government required documents,
- Maintain the Warehouse and all associated procedures in a perpetual state of Audit Readiness and regularly identify Continuous Improvement projects and submit to Area Manager for approval to implement.
- Must be able to work extended hours, weekends as needed, especially when problems occur or when deadlines must be met and perform other duties as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2+ years of shipping, receiving and/or inventory control or relevant supervisory experience in manufacturing/operations is preferred.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or GMP facility is an asset.
- Creative Problem-Solving skills.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, while ensuring staff beneath him are suitably engaged.
- Capable of obtaining a Forklift Operator Certificate.
- Lean manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard.
- The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, bend, or twist, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- There is also the potential exposure to chemicals.
