**Role**:

- This position supports all warehouse clerical activities on the inbound shift including providing support to the Inbound Warehouse Supervisor. Additional responsibilities include data validation, report creation, and some data entry.**Role Responsibilities**:

- Organize and manage workflow of Sysco Warehouse Management System (SWMS), IDS, Warehouse Scheduler, and assist in locating missing inventory.
- Provide clerical support to the Operations team in an accurate and timely manner.
- Checking in drivers. Open and print Purchase Orders (POs) with lump sheets for receivers and lumpers w.r.t warehouse scheduler.
- Working with buyers/carriers to follow up in case the loads don’t show up as per appointment time.
- Contact buyers to get new PO created.
- Data entry and report generation for the warehouse team.
- Prepare general communications for inbound team (receiving, scheduler etc.)
- Assist in safety reporting, data entry, KPI tracking, catch weight variance, pallet audits and product investigations (shelf-life error log).
- Administer organizational practices when coordinating work to receivers, lumpers and forklift operators.
- Ensure accurate on-time reporting for department and corporate key metrics.
- Manage required training documents for various internal and external audit requirements.
- Communicate and log driver challenges and concerns to assigned Transportation Supervisor for resolution.
- Assists Supervisors with organizing the recovery effects due to customer service failures.
- Preform clerical Payroll related activities.
- Is willing to work safely with mínimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with mínimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-year experience in distribution environment
- Exposure to ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is required.
- High School Diploma
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate is preferred)
- Willing and able to work non-standard hours- **_
