Sweet Impressions Bakery is searching for a creative, hard-working, and passionate individual to join our team within the role of Cupcake Baker

**About the Role**

We’re searching for Part Time Bakers to join our amazing team in our production kitchen This role will include scooping and baking our cupcakes, completing customer orders, and prepping the orders for delivery **This position will be working from our Production Facility which is a separate location from our Storefront.**

Hours: 4am - 9am (may be flexible), 3-5 shifts per week, including Fridays and Saturdays

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Adhere to our Allergy Awareness Policy to ensure a 100% peanut and tree nut free environment and take all necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination with allergens present in the bakery
- Following recipes to execute production of all baked goods according to Sweet Impressions standards
- Prepare orders according to our internal Order Processing System
- Scoop, bake, and finish cupcakes according to bakery recipes and manuals
- Complete and organize orders to be ready for customer pickups/deliveries
- Communication with teammates on all tasks to be completed daily and weekly
- Other duties as assigned

**Who Are You?**
- You have a minimum 1 year baking experience (asset)
- You may have post-secondary education (degree or certificate) in Baking or Patisserie (asset)
- Very detail oriented with a fine attention to detail - we pride ourselves on our confidence in 100% nut free baking and egg
- and dairy-free baking within our vegan line
- Ability to follow tasks and work independently
- An early riser Someone who is ready to work as early as 4am
- Someone fun, positive, and friendly

**Salary**: $14.50-$16.00 per hour

- This position is located at our commercial kitchen near the airport, which is separate from our Storefront on Corydon Ave. Will you be able to make this commute regularly?
- As this is an early morning shift, bus routes will not be available for a 4am or 5am start. Do you have proper transportation to make it to work for a 4am or 5am starting time?
