- Applications Analyst
adidas - Woodbridge, CAN- PURPOSE
- Responsible for providing system and business process expertise to the Account Operations (AO) team for the cross-functional end to end management of the Wholesale orderbook and support of key business targets and initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing projects, driving system solutions, streamlining processes, and providing training._
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Research and execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot system and process issues.
- Drive improvements in system automation and process standardization.
- Define requirements and submit requests to IT after aligning with business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on issue resolution and improvement ideation.
- Manage projects within AO and represent AO on Global and Local cross-functional projects..
- Drive testing efforts including test plan creation, test execution, issue resolution, and status tracking.
- Support escalations of internal request forms on more complex topics and from senior leadership.
- Host office hours for additional support needs.
- Create IT tickets and ensure closure with appropriate resolution.
- Support ad hoc execution of SAP transactions as needed and at the request of senior leadership.
- Create training documentation, process mapping documentation, and present training content.
- KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- SAP proficiency in Sales & Distribution
- Works independently and proactively manages work
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization including senior leadership
- Appetite to challenge existing ways of working and learn new system functionality
- MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint)
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Retail industry and account management experience preferred. Supply Chain knowledge preferred.-
