Inspire - Community Support Services is a non-profit, multi-service community-based agency. The agency is currently looking to fill a full-time Social Worker position who will be responsible to provide clients with therapeutic counselling/psychotherapy. This position will work out of our main office in Cornwall and travel may be required.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Completes intakes and assessments for clinical and group programs assessing appropriateness and readiness
- Conducts individual, couple and family counselling
- Assesses risk, creates service and individualized support plans, coordinates with service providers
- Conducts treatment place in collaboration with client, reassess plans and adjust plans as needed
- Refers clients to other agency resources
- Participates in clinical meetings, program planning, evaluation meetings, and meets individually with Director
- Creates and maintains progress notes, reports and other required materials (participation rates, trends/themes, referral pathways)

**Knowledge**:

- Knowledge and practice of psychotherapy - individual, couples and families
- Knowledge of domestic violence abuse support and intervention programs
- Knowledge of development disabilities and complex special needs
- Knowledge of relevant governing legislation, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of the organization’s services and community partners
- Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, and technology devices

**Position Requirements**:

- Completion of master’s degree in social work, psychotherapy or equivalent
- Membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and/or registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario or other regulatory body

**Experience**:

- Greater than three years of previous work experience in clinical services for clients

**Employment and Working Conditions**:

- Works in office environment, client homes and other locations
- Situational awareness for health and safety of self and others
- Exposure to safety concerns, physical and verbal outbursts and abuse
- Exposure to stressful experiences/interaction with clients who are upset, angry, and/or emotionally charged

- Virtual sessions are offered
- 35 hours per work week
- Salary $36.21

Inspire - Services de soutien communautaire est un organisme multiservice sans but lucratif. L’organisme cherche actuellement à pourvoir un poste à plein temps responsable d’offrir du counseling thérapeutique ou des services de psychothérapie aux clients. Le titulaire du poste travaillera à partir de notre bureau principal à Cornwall. Des déplacements peuvent être nécessaires.

**Responsabilités principales**:

- Compléter la documentation à l’accueil et les évaluations pour les programmes cliniques et de groupe en déterminant la pertinence des programmes et le degré de préparation de la clientèle
- Offre du counseling individuel, de couple et de famille
- Évalue les risques, crée des plans de service et de soutien individualisés, assure la coordination avec les fournisseurs de services
- Réalise des plans d’intervention en collaboration avec le client, les réévalue et les ajuste au besoin
- Oriente la clientèle vers les ressources offertes par d’autres organismes
- Participe aux réunions cliniques, à la planification des programmes, aux réunions d’évaluation et rencontre la gestionnaire de programme de façon individuelle
- Crée et tient à jour des notes sur les progrès réalisés, des rapports et d’autres documents nécessaires (taux de participation, tendances/thèmes, voies d’aiguillage)

Connaissances:

- Connaissance et expérience pratique de la psychothérapie individuelle, de couple et familiale
- Connaissance des programmes de soutien et d’intervention en matière de violence familiale
- Connaissances en déficience intellectuelle et en besoins particuliers complexes
- Connaissance des lois, des politiques et des procédures pertinentes
- Connaissance des services de l’organisme et des partenaires communautaires
- Connaissance des logiciels de productivité de bureau, des bases de données et des appareils technologiques

Scolarité:

- Maitrise en travail social, en psychothérapie ou l’équivalent
- Inscription à l’Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des techniciens en travail social de l’Ontario, à l’Ordre des psychothérapeutes autorisés de l’Ontario ou à un autre organisme de règlementation.

Expérience:

- Plus de trois (3) ans d’expérience de travail dans un contexte de services cliniques destinés aux clients
