**About the role**:
We’re looking for a Marketing Strategist reporting into the Marketing Manager in one of the Client Experience Office (CXO) pods. In this role, you’ll work with work with a dynamic team to take on exciting initiatives that answer the challenge: "How can we better engage and nudge our Clients in taking action to reach their financial and wellness goals”. Together, we’ll build the Client engagement strategies that will keep Sun Life ahead of the curve, support the individual life insurance business. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of digital marketing and harness your strategic and executional expertise.

**What will you do?**
- Translate business asks into marketing strategies. Design Client engagement strategies to solve business problems or achieve business objectives. Socialize the strategies with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to solicit feedback
- Create a Client journey map by identifying key moments of truths and Client needs
- Develop clear, relevant marketing content by collaborating with Copywriters and Designers while ensuring adherence to Sun Life brand guidelines. Manage requests for approval working with Compliance / Legal.
- Publish content using the Web Experience Management (WEM) system, which requires knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Work with Data leads and Data analysts to create impactful target segments for campaigns, understanding Client profiles and selecting relevant criteria. Implement A/B tests for learnings where applicable. Report on campaign results with a strong focus on insights and action plans.
- Build and manage strong relationships with our business partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to ideation / brainstorming in an effort to build innovative marketing solutions.

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Minimum 3 - 5 years in a Marketing Specialist or Marketing Coordinator role
- Experience with marketing and digital data analytics with the ability to distill meaningful insights and use them to solve problems
- Strong owners’ mindset and bias for action; proactively utilize resources to deliver results
- Ability to lead cross functional projects and handle multiple priorities on time with excellence
- Communications skills (verbal and written) to effectively deliver complex information or ideas; ability to develop strong relationships

**Preferred Skills**:

- Proficient HTML and CSS editing skills are preferred
- Experience in Adobe Campaign Manager is preferred
- Experience working with an agile team
- Client-centric mindset; Ability to prioritize Client’s needs
- Experience in progressive copywriting and editing, especially for digital tactics
