- Days, 8 hour shifts.**What you will do**:
The Advisor, Volunteer Resources works in tandem with the site Coordinator to provide organizational support for all site operations, especially focusing on coordinating schedules for all program areas and shadowing sessions for new volunteers; assisting the Volunteer Resources Department for corporate initiatives; providing daily support, guidance and training mentorship and coaching to volunteers and leader volunteers.

**What you will bring**:

- Two-year College Diploma;
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience, with an emphasis on excellent customer service, preferably in a non-for-profit or para-public setting;
- Ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions;
- Ability to be flexible and yet productive in a demanding environment;
- Ability to prioritize work;
- Excellent typing skills;
- Detail oriented;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required in order to interact with volunteers and staff, and be able to manage up effectively as needed;
- Ability to work in a very busy environment with many different personality types;
- Problem solving and decision-making skills and ability to deal with unexpected situations;;
- Leadership skills such as the ability to stay calm, follow procedures and guide a team under stressful situations;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.

- Three-year College Diploma;
- Certificate in Volunteer Management or Human Resources;
- Experience in volunteer engagement and administration.
