We are welcoming applicants from Canada, the US, and the UK for this position.

**You Will**:

- Create training data for ML modelling, aiding in the labelling of text and image data from publications
- QA data from ML models and data pipelines to identify deficiencies
- Work with engineers to help resolve roadblocks in the approaches under development
- Develop strategies to improve overall data collection
- Conduct ongoing research to improve use case data collection for existing and new reagent groups
- Expand our biomedical libraries and overall proteomic functionalities
- QA current mapping data and develop new methods to improve mapping
- Keep up with current biomedical research to guide technology development
- Help improve UI/UX and search accuracy of the BenchSci platform

**You Have**:

- PhD or MSc 3+ years of relevant bench experience in life sciences (e.g. Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge or bench experience in experimental biology research techniques, including but not limited to: Pre-clinical studies, Drug discovery, Genetics, In vivo studies, Immunological studies, Functional assays, Microbiology
- Experience working with bioinformatics databases (eg. DrugBank, SIDER, Uniprot, STRING, Kegg Pathways, etc)
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions to problems you have not seen before
- Confidence in working with open-ended tasks
- Experience working with large datasets and working with data processing tools such as, SQL and Python/R
