Staff Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Scientist to join the Acceleration Consortium at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to develop and implement AI-driven materials discovery and development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for materials discovery and development
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to design and implement research projects
- Work with industry partners to develop and commercialize new materials and technologies
- Contribute to the development of the Acceleration Consortium's research agenda and strategic plans
- Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, life sciences, physics, engineering, computer science, or related discipline
- 5-10 years of experience in accelerated research and development in the area of machine learning applications in computational chemistry and/or biology
- Strong experience presenting research at academic conferences
- Demonstrated record of academic and/or research excellence
- Strong publication record
