**About Western**:
**About Us**:
Western’s Integrated Science program offers students both _breadth_ across the sciences and _depth_ in one particular area of science. Students in the program enroll in Integrated Science **courses** for breadth, as well as courses in one of nine chosen disciplines for depth.

Graduates of the program will receive an _Honours Specialization in Integrated Science with [insert name of discipline here]_. The nine disciplines from which students can choose are: Astrophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Genetics, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, Physics, Synthetic Biology.

**Course Information**:
Make an impact in your community through this experiential learning course. Engage with a local company or non-profit organization to advance scientific literacy and help them address scientific problems. Mentor and inspire newer undergraduates. Examine the impact of science in communities across the globe. Construct evidence-based responses to scientific issues.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.

**Qualifications**:
In accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications, including qualifications which go beyond the requirements for the position. Applicants should have fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
