**Course Information**:

- This is a statistics course for students entering the Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Leveraging from HS3801 and HS9515 or their equivalents, this module covers multiple regression analysis and its extension to categorical predictors, mediation, and moderation analysis. Using examples from health science research and related fields, the module covers model specification, testing for significance of the model and of parameters, models with categorical predictors and testing for their effects, collinearity and variable selection using stepwise and shrinkage (ridge, lasso, Elastic nets) methods. Methods for checking the assumptions of linearity, normality and constant variance are also covered. Extensions to analysis of confounders, mediators, and moderators/effect modifiers are also presented.**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.
