**Job description - Client Care Representative**

**About us**

We are a small, privately owned animal clinic in Etobicoke, just 6 minutes from Highway 401 and Weston Road. We are an AAHA-accredited practice, meaning we provide the golden standard of medicine in primary veterinary services. We offer digital imaging, in-house diagnostics, and dental and soft tissue procedures. We collaborate with mobile veterinary specialists who provide advanced orthopedic and dental surgeries, cardiology consultations, and ultrasounds.

Our expert support staff includes registered veterinary technicians, animal care attendants, client service representatives, and a practice management team.

Our mentorship program provides support to all team members, so they can achieve personal learning goals and benefit from frequent training. You will have ample opportunities to grow and develop your passion and skills. We emphasize work-life balance and want you to thrive at the workplace and outside of it.

**About you**

This is one of the most important roles in our practice, as you are the first and the last person our clients meet. We are looking for a team player who is invested in growing our practice and growing with it We celebrate success together and we value our team’s contributions to continuous improvement. Your voice matters here and we want you to enjoy what you do.

This can be a physical job, so you must be able to lift bags of dog food and help clients with sick pets in and out of their cars. We would love it if you are also social media savvy We educate our followers through Instagram and Facebook and show them what happens ‘behind the scenes’. We will teach you everything you need to know about veterinary medicine and how we practice at Westway. However, you need to have things on day one to excel. Our baseline requirements are:

- Computer skills (working knowledge of Word, and Excel; Ezyvet knowledge is an asset)
- Educating clients about products and services
- Professional client service skills
- Literacy and numeracy
- Punctuality and time management
- Financial management
- Professional appearance
- Positive attitude

**Job Qualifications**
- Full-time 40-hour workweek with availability on Saturdays
- Professional telephone and client communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills to improve workflow and productivity
- Leadership ability is expressed to team members and clients by example
- Continued learning of new skills to share with other team members
- Contribution to becoming AAHA Practice of the Year by 2024
