Armour is currently recruiting a
**Safety Manager** in Moncton, New Brunswick, located at our office on 377 English Drive. The Safety Manager will manage the day-to-day Safety initiatives and promote Safety Culture for Armour Transportation systems.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with Operations Management on safety related activities
- Promote Safety Culture across the organization
- Driver/Employee Orientations, coaching, and Safety Training
- Safe Behaviour Observation programs (Field Audits)
- Promote and ensure compliance to OH&S regulations and practices
- Incident Investigations and root cause analysis
- KPI reporting and communication of corrective actions and learnings
- Day-to-Day managing of assigned employees
- Other assigned duties

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated industry-related experience in a safety role
- Excellent knowledge of the road transportation industry regulations, occupational safety standards, highway traffic and Hours of Service regulations
- NATMI CDS or similar industry certification preferred

**Working Conditions**:

- Fast-paced environment
- Some non-standard work hours and travel throughout Armour’s terminal network

**Technical Skills**:

- Prepare and present presentations to both small and large groups
- Ability to analyze data for reporting and trending purposes
- Computer Literacy with Microsoft Office and TMW Applications
