**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ability to read drawings and specifications in order to understand what finish is required an asset
- Sand Veneer, Hardwood and any other material to prepare for the top coat process
- create stain recipe on samples in order to obtain approval of customer sample
- Sand varnish according to company standards to achieve flatness and remove defects
- Perform polishing to correct defects and to finished surfaces
- Identify defects in order to make the required touch up before varnish
- Operation of relevant tools and machines in order to sand and polish according to company standard
- Complete specific forms and job reports
- Maintenance and cleaning of workplace and equipment

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- DEP in finishing or High school diploma combined with similar work experience
- Expertise in polishing high-end products
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience
- Readiness for evening shift (Mon - Thur)
- Methodical with attention to detail
- High quality workmanship, excellent manual skills, accuracy
