**About the job**
Join the **Partner Solutions (PSI)** team as a **Security Analyst, Data Protection**. Your role will be to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the organization's data and that of our customers, by helping to implement the appropriate protection strategies and tools.
**What you’ll do here**:
- Participate in the implementation of an organization-wide data protection program, including the creation of policies, procedures, and technical controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data assets requiring protection and determine appropriate data protection measures.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and tools to support the program and oversee their implementation and configuration.
- Actively participate in the implementation of the organization's data retention program.
- Monitor and analyze incidents and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tool alerts to identify potential security threats or breaches and take appropriate action to prevent data loss.
- Participate in security incident response activities, including investigations and remediation efforts.
- Participate in the promotion of best practices and information security awareness.
**What you need**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in information security.
- Experience with data loss prevention technologies and tools.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, team spirit and willingness to learn.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
- Bilingualism (French / English) -_ Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country_.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
