The BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation (EMLI) has the expertise to support the development of a wide range of clean energy projects, including but not limited to hydrogen (including ammonia and methanol); carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS); biofuels; renewable gases (including renewable natural gas (RNG)); and emerging energy storage technologies.

Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Director, this position provides a variety of office administrative, secretarial, and financial support services for the Branch and coordinates the day-to-day priorities of the Senior Executive Director, including providing liaison with Ministry Executive Offices.

**Job Requirements**:

- Certificate or coursework in business or office administration and six (6) months of related experience; OR,
- secondary School graduation or equivalent and one (1) year of related experience; OR,
- school Completion (Evergreen) Certificate and two (2) years of related experience; OR,
- an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes all of the following:

- experience leading others for a minimum of six (6) months;
- experience working in an office setting for a minimum of six (6) months;
- experience with file and document management and tracking (e.g., Cliff, eApps, Teams Planner, etc.);
- ability to keyboard with speed and accuracy at a minimum of 40 words per minute;
- experience managing an Executive’s calendar and arranging materials for upcoming resource in preparation of meetings.
- experience directly supervising for a minimum of six (6) months;
- experience proofreading materials for a minimum of one (1) year;
- experience managing an Executive’s calendar and arranging materials for upcoming resource in preparation of meetings for a minimum of one (1) year;
- experience with financial budgets and experience (e.g., reconciliation of expenditures, processing business expense forms and invoices, administration of petty cash or financial documentation, etc.); and/or,
- experience arranging conferences/conventions, including booking meeting locations and arranging logistics.

**About this Position**:
This is a permanent, full time position.
