**W**e** **are** looking for interns for the **below **Summer Student Contract Opportunities**. **Depending on your team assignment, here is a glimpse of what you will do here (in addition to other administrative duties, as assigned).

**U**nderwriting**, Commercial Lines** & Personal Lines**
- Support the underwriting team by processing and amending new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellations within established authority level in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Refer risks to underwriters based on complexity and authority level.

**Claims**
- Process, coordinate, sort and distribute correspondence for claims.
- Prepare forms and correspondence to insurance clients, vendors and legal representatives.
- Assist adjusters in daily tasks.

**Acco**u**nting Services**
- Accurately process and verify payments received, reconcile bank deposits and verify deposit totals.
- Prepare, compile and dispatch invoices, statements, reports and cheques.
- Review and resolve daily cash reports, correct and adjust journal entries and process cheque requisitions.
- Handle unresolved issues regarding payments, disbursements, billing arrangements, payment methods and account discrepancies.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or College diploma.
- Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for Summer 2024 Term (May to August).
- Must be an active student during their internship OR returning to school in Fall 2024 or Winter 2025.
- You are passionate about insurance and continuing education.
- You are motivated and driven to succeed.
- You have a strong customer focus and create a positive client experience.
- You are resilient and have the ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Your team is important to you contribute to your team’s success by exceeding targets and being an active team player.
