With a focus on operational employee experience, the jobholder is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive and rewarding work experience at every key employee touchpoint and moment with the organization, throughout their employment cycle, in order to increase employee retention and engagement.

**THE ROLE**:

- Ensure a positive and memorable experience for each event in the employee lifecycle (Onboarding, Development, Performance Management, Departure, etc.) and ensure that this experience is extended to all sites.
- Building the hourly employee experience desired at Nortera:

- Assess the external context of the job market where our operational sites are located
- Evaluate feedback from the organizational survey, Office Vibe and various HR KPIs (e.g. turnover rate) to diagnose the employee experience
- Identify key pillars and moments of the employee experience
- Define the expected norms (standard basis) of the employee experience
- In collaboration with the sites, identify areas for improvement and propose innovative, concrete and immediate solutions to optimize the employee experience.
- Evaluate and measure the employee experience
- Enrich and maintain the employee experience
- Build the framework for the onboarding program (INtro) for operational employees
- Build the onboarding program update approach to understand, site by site, the current situation (starting point) of onboarding at Nortera.
- Draw on best practices and be creative in developing the program (working committee, "pick and choose" formula, etc.)
- Ensure program deployment and maintenance
- In collaboration with the Total rewards team, review the salary positioning of hourly employees versus local benchmarks
- Coordinate the succession of qualified hourly employees (collect information, format collected information, support sites, etc.).(in priority for critical & skilled positions)
- Temporary foreign workers : establish the Nortera standards and norms applicable to TFW in order to generate engagement and protect Nortera reputation
- Work closely with the HR Project Manager on various HR projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts and programs;
- Contribute to the development of the company's employer brand;
- Structure and standardize corporate events such as Christmas celebrations, recognition evenings, family days, field hockey tournaments, etc
- University degree in human resources management or related field;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in human resources;
- Have a good understanding of the manufacturing/operational environment;
- Experience in project management;
- Knowledge in change management;
- Dynamic;
- Self-motivated;
- Ability to propose innovative solutions;
- Ability to work on several projects at once;
- Strong communication skills;
- Excellent knowledge of French and English.
