The role
A typical day
- Field challenges with the ordering and fulfillment process, suggest solutions, and implement changes decided by the team.
- Help implement new processes when issues arise.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and Demand Management, Procurement, Forward Logistics, Inventory Control and Regional warehouses.
- Prepare excel reporting as needed, including charts, summaries, and presentations for management.
- Support various sales initiatives to promote effective use of equipment.
- Various other duties as required.

Your skills/experience
- You have a post-secondary education in supply chain management or 2 years related work experience in demand management and inventory control.
- You consider yourself a “data” person, show pride in your ability to produce accurate information, are able to design professionally formatted reports and summaries, and possess intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
- You have a natural interest in inventory and enjoy the “hands on” approach to learning and carrying out tasks.
- You enjoy taking on new challenges outside your comfort zone, as well as those daily repetitive tasks that require careful attention.
- You have a demonstrated ability to write clear and professional communication to a wide audience.
- You have an aptitude and interest to learn ERP Systems, technical concepts, and operational processes.
- You are able to work independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- You succeed in a fast-changing environment and respond to priority changes.
- You have a positive “can-do” attitude and a customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.
