At Fresh St. Market's Deli Department, we provide a wide variety of fresh, high-quality products with a strong emphasis on local and specialty items designed to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. Recommend foods and provide samples of fine meats and cheeses. They also maintain clean work areas, update displays, and inform customers about specials, promotions, and new items.

Reporting to the Store Leader, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Role Overview: Deli Department

Leadership through mentoring the company vision, mission, core values
Consistently deliver excellent service experience for both internal and external customers
Hire, train, lead, and empower the team to ensure efficiency and productivity
Product merchandising; New product/program execution
Handle orders, inventory, and shrink management
In charge of the department's financial key objectives are achieved
Communication with the team on business performance, new initiatives, and other pertinent issues
Run it like it's your business
Ensure health and food safety standards are performed through Standard operating procedures

Street Credentials:
Must have valid work authorization in Canada
Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend and evenings
3+ years of experience in Deli or related field
3+ years of Leadership experience in a retail service environment
Food Safe and First Aid Certification are considered assets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements are required as a Leader in Fresh St. Market
