We are looking for a Track Labour to join our track work operations in Ottawa. The position is unionized under the LiUNA agreement.

We expect:
- Work experience as a track labour, track welder or machine operator are an asset,
- Valid Canadian Railway Operating Rules (CROR) and Track inspection Guidelines (TIG) certifications are an asset (training will be provided if certificate is expired),
- Work unsupervised and in teams with other coworkers,
- Must be able to lift approximately 60lbs and Work outdoors in various weather conditions,
- Ability to understand and follow safety rules, policies, procedures and regulations;
- Effective communications skills with coworkers and superiors,
- Some travel away from home is required, rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and some night work,
- Common sense and positive attitude,
- Pass pre-employment medical, drug screening and e-RailSafe compliance system
