Robotics & Controls Specialist

Reporting to the Controls Manager, the Controls Specialist will support projects and field services activities including programming and documentation.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Offline programming of robotic systems comprising of the following elements:
- PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley, & Beckhoff)
- Robot (ABB)
- HMI (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
- Vision (IFM & Keyence)
- Device configuration and networking (Ethernet/IP & Profinet)
- On site shop testing of robotic systems
- Troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Off site commissioning of robotic systems
- Service and post-commissioning support
- Documentation for user manuals, process diagrams, and training programs
- Coordinate with colleagues, including project management, to achieve project deadlines
- Travel within North America is required
**Qualifications & Experience**
- College or university degree or diploma in electrical engineering, automation & robotics or similar
- PLC, Robot, & HMI programming experience
- Typing skills, Microsoft Office and some knowledge of MRP Systems necessary
