Are you an experienced, hands-on supervisor with superior organizational and communication skills? CanaDream is seeking a Preparations Lead to oversee a small team of detailers.

About the Company

From humble beginnings in the mid-‘90s, CanaDream has steadily grown into a leading RV rental and sales business in Canada. Our market-leading brand position has been achieved through a combination of investments in experienced employees across all our locations, with unique build RV floor plans, proprietary technology, continual investment, continual growth and expansion plans, and a fleet of over 1,000 modern RVs for rentals and previously experienced units available for sale.

Our brand new modern building is in a newly developed area has 5 work bays, an inside wash bay area and 3 offices. It is fully paved with spacious roads and a fully fenced, gated and graveled lot. We are close to the QEII highway, just 10 minutes from the Airport. It also features high-quality finishes, a roomy new reception/waiting room, a staff lunchroom, and multiple washrooms for both employees and Guests.

**Job Duties**:
**You will be responsible for the following**:

- Performing daily cleaning duties related to the preparation department.
- Planning and coordinating cleaning activities including budget control, inventory control, purchasing and receiving of all receiving kit materials, cleaning supplies and laundry supplies.
- Providing leadership, direction and training to a team of cleaners, establishing a positive and efficient work environment resulting in high levels of performance.
- Conducting orientation and training to staff on established policies, work procedures and on the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Assigning staff their duties and inspecting work for conformance to prescribed standards and cleanliness.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and preparedness of all units meet or exceed the guests' expectations upon pick-up.
- Arranging maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, washers, dryers, pressure washers, etc.
- Conducting systematic inventory counts and advising management on inventory levels.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Cleaning experience within the automotive/RV industry or hotel or tourism industry is an asset
- 1-2 years in a lead role
- Experience working in a collaborative environment setting goals, resolving issues and making decisions that enhance the organization’s effectiveness.
