Our technology platform utilizes sensors, GPS tracking, and highly engaged partner haulers to provide waste management and recycling services and track materials from their source to recycling and composting facilities. Our sustainability experts analyze the data generated by the platform to help our customers make tangible improvements to their waste management and recycling efforts. Ultimately, we are innovating to treat waste as a component material for other products in the circular economy so that as little as possible is deposited into landfills or incinerators.

**What we need**:
Reporting to the Canadian Sustainability Benchmarking Manager, you will be conducting, data collection, and reporting needs for waste benchmarking services conducted by RTS. This position will be required to travel to a variety of provinces and cities, with the primary work location being in Ontario - 80% of this role will require travel. You will work with the Sustainability Benchmarking Specialists for assigned projects and will ensure that the waste audit is conducted according to the RTS safety and audit methodology. RTS has COVID-19 protocols and specific client protocols that must be adhered to.

**What you will be doing**:

- Conduct Ontario Regulation 102 audits and drafted corresponding reports.
- Promote methodology, policies, and procedures to ensure standardized, industry leading waste benchmarks are conducted according to RTS protocols.
- Coordinate all aspects of Waste Audits: Sampling, Sorting, Recording, Reporting.
- Audit types include but are not limited to:

- BOMA Best
- O Reg 102/94 Compliance
- LEED
- Advocate for resources needed to facilitate these services in a professional manner.
- Create accurate and detailed reports for clients and management.
- Coordinate with RTS data analytics to track and maintain data, then review data and create reports for clients.
- Manage data and report drafting for services conducted.
- Attend client meetings to review and discuss findings, recommendations and assist as needed with implementation.
- Provide customer service and engage with clients onsite.
- Manage all aspects of Ministry of Environment compliance regulation request process for our customers as required.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external groups about the waste audit process, or conclusions as required.
- Remain current on industry laws, legislation and information to ensure all audits are performed properly in each province.
- Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.

- “Must Have” Skills/Experience:_
- G Drivers License
- Access to a vehicle
- Experience in a corporate environment, event planning or specific waste audit background
- LEED credential or willingness to achieve.
- Proven effectiveness coordinating with management teams, vendors, and consultants.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Conduct prior LEED, BOMA Best, Compliance or similar audits.
- Comfortable with public speaking and networking
- Excellent writing skills
- Capable of working with mínimal supervision
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and organized with proven experience in simultaneously managing multiple projects.

- TRUE Zero Waste Advisor preferred
- Knowledge of waste industry and sustainable waste management concepts and other waste related issues a plus

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for managing third party temp staff and other audit team members, providing guidance, direction and oversight to the work
