**JOB OVERVIEW:  **

Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established procedures and company standards.  

**RESPONSIBILITIES:  **
- Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies accurately and efficiently
- Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Taking precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
- Uses tools and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels
- Keeps daily assembly production records
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Performs assigned tasks and trained by Supervisors and / or Line Leaders
- Notifies Supervisor immediately of any issues or deviations in relation to Quality / Efficiency or missing items
- Maybe assigned to different departments / tasks as required sucg as setting up the slitter, running the CNC or CAD table.

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS**
- Proven experience as assembler
- Good mechanical and computer skills
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and technologies

- High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school

Pay: From $16.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
