**Responsibilities for Conference Production Manager**
- Contacting top-level decision-making executives for speaker recruitment purposes as well as research purposes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with speakers for future events
- Independently managing the production of events as well as overseeing the production of team member events
- Copywriting & agenda writing, ensuring the content produced meets the needs of the key stakeholders
- Participating in and lead virtual and onsite rehearsals with speakers
- Thoroughly debriefing and documenting completed events and projects while focusing on best practices for continuous growth and improvement
- Keeping up to date with current industry trends, market activities, and the competitive landscape
- Overseeing the Production department including supporting the recruitment, training and ongoing mentoring of team members
- Collaborating with the Senior Vice President Conference Production on performance management responsibilities of team members
- Reviewing current processes and identifying alternative ways to solve problems, considering both costs and benefits
- Collaborating with other departments including Sales, Marketing and Operations to ensure event success

**Qualifications for Conference Production Manager**
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or Communications an asset)
- 5+ Years of Event Management experience, preference for Production experience and Speaker Recruitment
- End-to-end understanding of live conference production
- Collaborative with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills
- Ambitious results-oriented individual with entrepreneurial drive
- Be highly skilled in handling multiple concurrent projects
- Ability and willingness to make cold calls to senior-level executives, with excellent telephone manner
- General business acumen and understanding of Fortune 1000 companies
- Willingness to travel to attend summits (roughly 5 per year)
- Experience leading a team

**Things to Discuss Further During the Interview**
- This position will offer the opportunity for occasional travel
- Our company offers above the normal starting vacation and observes US holidays
- Our company is working on a hybrid model with some days in the office and some days at home

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
