Construction Information Coordinator

**About Us**
The Construction Association of Saskatchewan is dedicated to supporting the construction industry by providing a variety of member services, including timely, accurate, and comprehensive construction project information. We empower our members with the resources they need to succeed in bidding and project execution. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a **Construction Information Coordinator**.
**Position Summary**
As the Construction Information Coordinator, you will manage daily construction tender postings, monitor various tender channels, and publish active tenders and addendums on BuildWorks Canada. You will also collaborate with the Construction Information team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all postings. Collecting and posting tender awards will be a top priority. Additional responsibilities include contributing to newsletters and reports and providing support to members.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Tender Posting & Management**:
- Monitor multiple tender channels daily.
- Collect, organize, and publish tenders and addendums on BuildWorks Canada.
**Plan Room Maintenance**:
- Ensure the construction project information is up-to-date with current and accurate tender information.
**Tender Award Collection**:
- Proactively collect and post tender award information for member access.
**PreBid Research & Reporting**:
- Support research on upcoming construction projects and publish PreBid opportunities as needed.
**Report & Newsletter Production**:
- Assist in creating newsletters and reports using platforms like ConstantContact.
**Member Support**:
- Respond to member inquiries regarding tenders, awards, and other construction-related information.
**Other Tasks as Assigned**:
- Support the team with additional responsibilities as needed.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field, _**or equivalent combination of education and experience).**_
**Experience**:
- Familiarity with the construction project lifecycle, including research, information management, and tendering processes, is an asset.
- Experience in using online platforms and databases such as BuildWorks Canada for managing project information is beneficial but not required.
- Prior experience producing newsletters or similar content using platforms like ConstantContact is an advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related role is preferred but not mandatory; technical proficiency and the ability to adapt quickly are more important.

- Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle from planning to completion.
- Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and analyze information from various sources.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with online platforms, databases, and reporting tools, with a focus on efficiency and adaptability.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in tender postings and updates.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for compiling and reporting project information.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive Approach: Initiative in solving problems and ensuring the timely posting of tenders and awards.
