Duties & Responsibilities Site Monitoring

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surveillance Monitoring**:

- Watch real-time footage from CCTV cameras installed across the facility.
- Identify suspicious activity or security breaches, such as unauthorized access, vandalism, theft, or other irregularities.
- Record and report incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
- **Incident Detection**:

- React quickly to unusual activities by alerting security personnel or law enforcement as necessary.
- Use the camera system to track individuals or vehicles involved in suspicious activity, often in coordination with physical security teams.
- **Maintenance of CCTV Equipment**:

- Ensure that cameras are properly working and positioned correctly.
- Report technical issues or malfunctions with equipment to the technical or maintenance team.
- **Log Keeping**:

- Maintain logs of incidents and the monitoring activities for later reference or investigation.
- Document and file footage when needed for evidence in investigations or legal matters.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate with on-site security personnel or management when necessary to report incidents or request additional support.
- **Preventive Measures**:

- Proactively monitor areas for signs of potential issues before they escalate.
- Keep an eye on areas that are known to be high-risk or have a history of incidents.

**Skills and Qualities Required**:

- **Attention to Detail**: The ability to notice even minor irregularities in the footage.
- **Problem-Solving**: Reacting quickly and logically when suspicious activities are detected.
- **Communication**: Clear reporting and coordination with other security staff or authorities.
- **Technological Proficiency**: Comfort with security camera systems, software, and other tech tools.
- **Vigilance**: Being able to maintain focus for extended periods, as surveillance can require long hours of watching feeds.
- **Calm Under Pressure**: Remaining composed when dealing with emergencies or difficult situations.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Shift Work**: CCTV guards often work in rotating shifts to cover 24-hour surveillance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- **Stationary**: The job generally involves sitting in a monitoring room for extended periods, which can be physically demanding.
- **Stressful Situations**: While the job can be quiet and routine, there may be moments of high stress if a security breach or emergency occurs.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour

Schedule:
