Overview:
We are looking for a sommelier to join our small team. We focus on natural wines from small producers. Our schedule is consistently Thursday to Sunday, usually starting around 3pm and going till 11pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take leadership of our wine program
- Help create our alcoholic and non alcoholic beverage pairings (juices/ferments/teas as well as cocktails, wine, sake, etc...)
- Order wine and meet with wine reps
- Keep track of our wine inventory
- Communicate with guests during service about our wines and help direct them with our wine selection
- Focus on natural/organic/bio-dynamic wines
- Help set up the dining room for service

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Sommelier or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
- WSET level 3 or equivalent training is an asset
- Extensive knowledge of different types of wines, regions, vintages, and varietals
- Strong understanding of food and wine pairing principles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide recommendations based on individual preferences and budgets
- Have your Smart Serve
- Fluent in English is needed and French is a strong asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
