**DUTIES**:
The Marketing Officer - Web is responsible for the overall web marketing strategy and day-to-day content management of College and Private Partner websites. This includes UX design, data integration, content creation, and general site maintenance. They work closely with internal St. Lawrence College teams (Marketing, Recruitment, Communications, Graphic design, IT services, and departmental contacts) as well as external partners (Site developer teams, Private Partner College(s), Integration tools). They will leverage analytics from various platforms to inform and influence web user behaviour and opportunities.

The Marketing Officer - Web provides strategic guidance and training on website use, execution, and future evolvement. They will have a strong working knowledge of website Content Management System (CMS), web user behaviour, marketing and sales funnels, web insights and analytics, and will be required to research and report on current web industry trends.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:
A minimum of a 3-year diploma/degree in a field of study such as Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, or another relevant field of study. A combination of relevant education, training and experience may also be considered where web marketing and SEO experience is demonstrated. A Google analytics certification is required.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience writing for the web and/or digital communications demonstrating experience in a high-volume environment where meeting strict deadlines is required

**Other Required Qualifications**:

- Website management, including editing websites and navigating website CMS, (e.g., Agility or similar system)
- Analyzing data and providing and implementing recommendations
- SEO monitoring and implementing updates
- HTML basic working skills
- Google Tag Manager
- User Journey mapping
- Ensuring AODA compliance in digital platforms
- Data security and privacy practices

**Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements**:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.
