**Location**: LaSalle College
We are looking for lecturers for the Game Design and Video Game Level program.
**The skills and concepts taught in this programme include**:
- Generalist Game Architect; Game Designer
- Game Designer;
- Level designer;
- Narrative Game Designer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning the course sessions;
- Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
- Designing formative and summative assessments according to the competency-based approach;
- Administering and marking evaluations;
- Follow-up on each student and encourage success;
- Be available to students in order to promote their development of the competency targeted by the course;
- Any other related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
** You have the following skills and qualifications**:
- Software analysts (Agile/Scrum, system modelling and design patterns);
- Game developers (Object Oriented Programming);
- Game designers (using Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, 3DSMax, substance Painter/Designer).
You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet one of the following criteria:
- Have a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
- Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full semester within the last five (5) years;
- Have worked in a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Courses are offered during the day. We are looking for creative, energetic professionals who are willing to pass on their knowledge. Must have experience in video game design, and video game design environments, including game mechanics and interactivity. Bilingualism and experience in pedagogy are major assets.
