**Fiddlehead Care Farm is growing and looking to hire a Administrative Assistant Come join our team**
Fiddlehead Care Farm (FCF) is a non-profit Care Farm which serves people of all ages and abilities. FCF’s mission is to provide clinical and therapeutic services to children and young adults with unique needs through animal-assisted Care Farming. Skilled therapists use nature-based Ecotherapy and animal-assisted interventions to support children and youth facing barriers such as developmental, physical, emotional, and behavioural needs and/or mental health concerns.
**Responsibilities of Position**
- Providing administrative and clerical support to Executive Director and clinical staff
- Schedule client appointments and staff meetings
- Manage waitlist by sending out intake packages and organizing incoming intake forms
- Invoicing clients and accepting client payments (Quickbooks)
- Data entry as required
- Month end and year end processes
- Preparation of monthly reports for management
- Submission of all government filings
- Completing payroll, including all payroll related filings.
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Strong computer skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Quickbooks Online (or other similar accounting systems)
- Demonstrated success working independently and in a team
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail
- The ability to read, write and speak English. French is a plus.
**Desired Education**
- University/College or higher
**Desired Experience**
- 2+ years experience in an office environment
- Familiarity with HR
- Prior experience in a healthcare/human services setting is preferred
- Experience with grant writing is an asset
