- The Accounts Payable Administrator position has a **salary range of $45,000 - $55,000** per annum based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our **AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada** facility is looking for an experienced and energetic **Accounts Payable Administrator** to join our Finance department in Chilliwack.

The **Accounts Payable Administrator** contributes to the overall efficient operation of the Finance department by performing daily and monthly tasks including but not limited to AP, Financial Reporting and Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts.

**Essential functions for this role are**:

- Responsible for full cycle receivables (AP Manual Entry, Invoice matching to PO entry, Payment vouchers, AP Credits & Refunds, payment processing, accounts reconciliations (customer and Balance Sheet).
- Resolve collections by examining AP payments, payment history and credit line
- Work closely with the Finance department in preparing and reviewing cashflow reports
- Work with other departments to ensure AP invoicing and GL coding is accurate
- Prepare, record and make bank deposits and process credit card charges
- Protect the organizations value by keeping information confidential
- Prepare weekly or monthly internal KPI reports as required
- Month end reconciliation of AP and vendor payment subledgers
- Review general ledger accounts for discrepancies, investigate and comment on large variances
- Maintains vendor records by updating information as required
- Produce monthly financial reporting as required
- Work on special projects as needed
- Various administration tasks as required
- Cross train with other finance roles as required

- Must be detail oriented
- High school education or GED equivalent
- University degree or Diploma in Business/Accounting, as well as working towards an advanced degree or professional accounting designation (such as CA, CPA, CGA, CMA, CMT) is considered an asset
- Experience with ERP systems & Microsoft Office products, AccPac experience an asset
